Cultivating Intimacy Circle Details
Intimacy in marriage extends beyond the physical; it encompasses our emotional, spiritual, and physical connection with one another. How do we nurture these dimensions of intimacy while keeping our relationship with Allah ﷻ at the heart of our marriage? Inspired by the principles of the Spiritually Empowered Wife course, this sharing circle invites married Muslim women to reflect on the role of intimacy in strengthening connection, cultivating affection, and nurturing a marriage rooted in mercy and understanding. Join us for a facilitated circle of reflection and sharing as we explore how we can become more intentional about nurturing intimacy in our marriages.

Our Circle Guidelines
Coming together with sincerity, respect, and a shared intention to grow. This is a space for sincere reflection, mutual support, and learning from one another, inspired by our faith and the example of Sayyidah Khadija رضي الله عنها. 🌹To create a space rooted in respect, sincerity, and sisterhood, we ask everyone to keep the following in mind: ✨1. Speak with respect. We can acknowledge marital challenges honestly while maintaining respect for our spouses and reflecting on our own growth (i.e., no "husband bashing" allowed.) ✨2. Share from your own experience. Speak from your perspective without making assumptions or telling others what they should do. ✨3. Listen with compassion. Allow each sister to share without judgment, interruption, or unsolicited advice. ✨4. Honor confidentiality. What is shared in the circle stays within the circle. ✨5. Share at your comfort level. Participation is welcome, but sharing is always optional. ✨6. Remember that marriage is a shared responsibility. We focus on our own growth while recognizing that a healthy marriage requires mutual respect, care, and effort. Our intention: To turn toward Allah ﷻ, reflect with sincerity, and encourage one another with compassion and understanding. ✅ A Note for Participants: Please join from a private space away from men and boys over the age of 9. You are welcome to turn on your camera to make our gathering feel more personal, but this is entirely optional. ✨We look forward to connecting with our sisters! ✨
