Step into the blessed footsteps of the Mothers of the Believers ﷺ — the noble wives of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, chosen by Allah ﷻ to be examples of faith, resilience, wisdom, and love. This mentorship series is more than history. It is an invitation to live more spiritually, to strengthen your own role as a Muslim woman, wife, mother, and servant of Allah ﷻ. Through stories, tafsir, hadith, and real-life applications, you will gain tools to embody their legacy in today’s world — with the hope of being gathered with them in Jannah.

Your Mentor

Ustadha Shamira is a dedicated teacher and mentor for women, passionate about helping them reach their highest spiritual potential through sacred knowledge. She studied across three continents — Africa, Europe, and Asia — completing the traditional ʿĀlimah degree and earning an ijāzah in Qur’ān recitation from the late Syrian scholar Shaykh Ḥasan al-Kurdī. She has taught Islamic sciences for over 20 years, beginning at Zaytuna Institute in California, and later specializing in women’s fiqh under Mufti Abdur Rahman Ibn Yusuf Mangera. She also holds a Master’s degree in Demographics and Social Analysis from the University of California, Irvine, focusing on Muslim-American identity formation. As the founder of Her Sacred Path, co-founder of the Rahmah Foundation, wife, mother of five, and certified birth doula, she weaves deep scholarship with lived experience to inspire women toward spiritual strength and closeness to Allah ﷻ. Her teaching on the Mothers of the Believers ﷺ is not just about history — it is about becoming women of faith, courage, and devotion in our own time. Through their stories, she invites you to walk in their footsteps, draw nearer to Allah ﷻ, and carry their light into your family, your community, and your akhirah.
